Moctesuma Esparza
(CEO) Maya Cinemas North America, Inc.

Moctesuma Esparza is one of the premier Chicano film and theater arts advocates in the United States. He is the Co-Founder/Board member of the National Association of Latino Producers, is an Advisory Board Member of the National Hispanic Media Coalition, is Chair of the Board, New America Alliance (2000-03), is a member of the corporate Board of Directors of the Motion Picture Television Fund, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Museum of Latin American Art. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the Minority Media Telecommunications Council, and is a founder of the Los Angeles Academy of Arts and Enterprise Charter School. Mr. Esparza has produced, director and/or executive on the following film projects; Walkout (2006), Gods and Generals (2003), Price of Glory (2000), Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999), Rough Riders (1997), The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca (1997), Selena (1997), The Cisco Kid (1994), Gettysburg (1993), The Milagro Beanfield War (1988), The Telephone (1988), Radioactive Dreams (1985), The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez (1982), Only Once in a Lifetime (1979), Agueda Martinez: Our People, Our Country (1977).
Rebeca Barrera
(Owner) Tres Rebecas

Rebecca Barrera was formerly the President of the National Latino Children's Institute, an organization dedicated to the healthy development of Latino children. Ms. Barrera has served as an instructor in child development for San Antonio College and the University of Texas at Austin. Rebecca has co-authored several community development kits to implement the National Latino Children's Agenda, including Corazón de Mi Vida, a child passenger safety program, and El Día de los Niños: Celebrating Young Americans. Other programs she has developed include Cara y Corazón for parents, Mi Casa Es Su Casa for family childcare providers, and Scholastic's Early Childhood Workshop/El Taller for pre-K and kindergarten classrooms. In addition to serving on the Self Reliance Foundation board, Ms. Barrera sits on the Board of Directors of Scholastic, Inc. Previous Board membership includes National Association for the Education of Young People and Community Resources Group.  Currently, Ms. Barrera is exercising her entrepreneurial skills as the founder and owner of Tres Rebecas

Evan Gladstone, Esq.
(Treasurer) National Real Estate Clearinghouse, Chicago, IL

Evan Gladstone is President of The National Real Estate Clearinghouse, Inc., a Chicago-based company that auctions real estate holdings for major banks, corporations, the federal government and Mexican banks. A business and Internet consultant, Mr. Gladstone specializes in applying new technologies to connect distant communities.

Jeffrey Kline
(Chairman), CEO, Hispanic Radio Network, Washington, DC

Jeffrey Kline is a founding member of the Self Reliance Foundation/Acceso Hispano. He has guided the organization since its inception in 1979. His award-winning media projects have aired nationally on both public television and commercial radio. Mr. Kline has personally produced over 10,000 individual Spanish radio programs, 12 documentary films in English and Spanish, and more than 100 television spots, including public service campaigns. He holds a master's degree in Education from New Mexico Highlands University.
Lucas Paz, Ph.D.
(Secretary), Chief Hydrologist, LFR Environmental Consultants, Berkeley, CA

Lucas Wright Paz is an environmental consultant specializing in the restoration of fresh water ecosystems and environmental education. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Management from the University of California at Berkeley.
Jeff Slade
(Director), Slade & Associates, P.C. New York, NY

Jeffrey Slade, founder of Slade and Associates, is a civil and criminal attorney. He was previously a founding partner of Levanthal and Slade, where he practiced from 1984 to 1999. He has tried cases throughout the United States, in both federal and state courts, and is admitted to the state bars of New York, Texas and five federal districts, five federal courts of appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Slade teaches litigation tactics for the New York Bar Association and the Practicing Law Institute. Mr. Slade recently won the largest age discrimination worker's rights lawsuit in the history of New York. He also holds a divinity degree and served as President of the Riverside Church in New York.
