SRF nutrition
education programs emphasize the importance of family mealtime.

America's
health in the future can only be insured by improving and diversifying
information dissemination, access, and health resources to underserved
populations today. Eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in
health requires new research into the causes of health disparities,
enhanced efforts at preventing disease, and innovative methods for
promoting health while delivering culturally competent preventive
and clinical services. |

SRF
works with community and federal organizations to provide premier
quality health information to Hispanic audiences. Our public education
campaigns inform Latinos about health topics such as diabetes,
cervical cancer, HIV/AIDS,
substance abuse, asthma, obesity,
and much more. Additionally,
through our toll-free
National Hispanic Resource Helpline,
we are able to connect people in need with
local, Hispanic-serving health organizations in their communities.
