Mundo 2000:

The Mundo 2000 project connected Spanish-speaking audiences from Alaska to Argentina via live radio programming on important health topics. These interactive programs allowed Spanish-speaking experts and professionals to join in discussion with the general public, opening up a unified dialogue throughout the Western Hemisphere about the impact of medical advancement in the upcoming millennium. The weekly radio shows aired throughout SRF’s partner affiliate network, spanning Hispanic audiences in the United States, as well as reaching over 15 million listeners in Latin America.
